Resumen
El estudio exploró la estructura ritual y el simbolismo de las ceremonias nupciales costeras en Europa y Asia, centrándose en su transformación bajo influencias religiosas, socioculturales y espaciales. La investigación abarcó Albania, Italia, Francia, España, Portugal, Grecia, Rumania, Montenegro, Indonesia, Vietnam, empleando métodos etnográficos, religiosos, semióticos y comparativos. Los elementos clave incluyeron el simbolismo del agua, los corales, las conchas, los peces y el loto; los actos de lavado, los obsequios y las comidas compartidas; y los entornos espaciales en playas, barcos y capillas costeras. Los hallazgos mostraron que las bodas costeras conservan tradiciones arcaicas al tiempo que se adaptan al turismo, los medios de comunicación y las tendencias ecológicas. En Europa occidental y meridional, los rituales católicos se fusionaron con símbolos marítimos; en los Balcanes, prevalecieron el folclore y los cantos religiosos; en Asia, predominaron los ritos animistas y de purificación espiritual. El estudio contribuye a la preservación del patrimonio cultural inmaterial y apoya el desarrollo de políticas culturales y de turismo sostenible.
